What Are Your Guilty Pleasures?

While I love being motivated, productive, feeling accomplished and inspired, there are some times and some days where I have to take a step back and chill out. There are also days where I’m not motivated, so I decide to give my mind a break from constantly going. Because I might not physically be working, but I’m constantly putting my brain to use – by visualizing, planning, working out problems and taking in new information.
So during this time, I indulge my guilty pleasures. I don’t mean to imply that I feel guilty for doing this, or that I’m embarrased to like these things. Honestly there isn’t a real reason for labeling them that, but I just do. Sometimes I’m into different things, and currently my guilty pleasures are:

Oneof my guilty pleasures is also laying around the house sleeping late, when the opportunity presents itself…I guess toplay catch up…
My second guilty pleasure is my makeup fetish…Just having to try something new when I know I don’t need it, but HAVE to try it…
Tamara I really TRIED to get into makeup as a hobby… I wonder how many hours we’ve both spent watching makeup vids on Youtube? =) But MAC just has too many darn collections for me to invest in their products. Plus I can only wear my ‘creative’ looks to the club! What are some of your favorite products?
Let’s see…Like you, I LOVE nail polish and doing my nails. I don’t have quite as many as you (yet), but I’m getting there.
I also like re-read to magazines, read website forums, watch bad reality TV shows (The Tool Academy, for example), and right now, I’m into wedding websites, forums and pics lol.
You know what’s funny Jamie, I don’t think I have alot! Go figure… I think looking at pics of other women’s collections have warped my idea of what ‘alot’ is…lol
I have 2 guilty pleasures:
1. Nail polish (I have close to 500 bottles of polish so it may be more of an obsession!)
2. Celebrity gossip magazines (It’s a great way to be a nosy snoop w/o FEELING like a nosy snoop!)
3. Wedding cakes/cake decorating (I have a fascination w/ wedding cakes & it has nothing to do w/ marriage. I think wedding cakes are beautiful & I love to see the way they’re made & decorated. I could watch it on TV/Youtube all day.
*Definitely going to have to look into getting a Kindle!*
That’s whats up!! I would love to see your storage for them, my dresser is getting out of hand… Have you gotten the Alice In Wonderland, Shrek and/or the Hong Kong collection yet? It doesn’t look like 8ty8 Beauty or Head2Toe have them online :-/
Right now I keep the polishes in 2 big plastic tubs & it’s getting out of control!
I just bought: Mad As A Hatter from the AIW Collection, Suzy Says Feng Shui from the HK Collection, an Orly Foil & 2 from China Glaze’s UU&A Collection.

see that was my 1st thought, to put them in tubs, but how can you see the colors unless you pull each bottle out? I think I’m gonna do that anyway to separate the fall and summer colors. I’m slipping on my polish game, need to buy some new ones! How do you like the finish on China Glaze polishes? I loved the fall collection from this year but their cream polishes feel like plastic to me.
I love wedding cakes too btw… sometimes I just look at them, its edible art to me lol
