    The one thing that I have done to get me closer to my goals is that I was accepted and started a nursing program. I started my first nursing class yesterday 3-22-10. I am now one step closer on my two year journey to becoming a Registered Nurse.

    well, i’ve only got 16 days (actually, that’s quite a lot for me), but i finally QUIT SMOKING!!! whoo hoo! i also successfully launched my first real blog. that’s quite a lot for me and it’s only MARCH. i’m super excited! thanks for asking! i needed that reminder today. i really, really am craving a cigarette, but this reminds me how much time and energy i will throw away if i just give in. thanks! my email address is:

    Well, funny that this would be asked, at this time. Because I’ve just started a transition in my life. Now I’m not sucking up or anything like that, but subscribing to this blog-and others- helped me TREMENDOUSLY towards this goal. Of walking into a beautifully progressive community employment agency after being out of work for years; Healing myself from childhood trauma and a really horrendous episode of domestic violence.
    Today was my second meeting. We cooked up a resume, hmm, hmmm good too! I feel…okay…motivated!

    To move closer to my goals, I have been more intentional about following through and following up. I taped a huge piece of paper to my bathroom door listing the contacts, opportunities, and ideas I have so that I see them everyday. It’s actually hard to not just ignore them though because now it just seems like wallpaper. However, even that one step has helped me get closer to my goals.
